 When it comes to wax, at Veta Nell we opt for a healthier and more sustainable alternative to paraffin wax or the many wax blends which include a portion of paraffin. Our coconut wax blend is made primarily of coconut wax with a bit of apricot wax.

Veta Nell’s wax blend is much softer than soy wax or other wax types. The softness allows you to easily clean the interior glass walls of your vase throughout the candle’s life. It also enables you to easily rinse away any final residue after your candle is finished burning, to re-purpose the beautiful glass vase.

At Veta Nell, we hand-pour the coconut wax into our candle vases, ensuring an even and consistent burn that avoids tunneling and waste. In our signature square vases, corner wax may melt down later in the life of the candle, depending on environmental conditions. Besides being visually appealing, Veta Nell glass vases are intended to be repurposed once the candle has been enjoyed fully. When a Veta Nell candle is finished burning, you can easily clean the vase by removing any remaining residue with steaming water and dish soap. Our wicks are designed to be removed; you can easily pop off the wick base with a utensil, ideally a plastic utensil.
